The Mongolian pianist and composer Shuteen Erdenebaatar and the German bassist and clarinetist Nils Kugelmann meet in an intense musical dialogue. Shuteen's luminous piano playing meets the mysterious sound colors of Kugelmann's rare contralto clarinet. Together, they create a sound world between jazz, classical, and film music, where cultures and the love of music connect. Both are among the influential personalities of a new jazz generation. Shuteen Erdenebaatar has been awarded the German Jazz Prize and the highest cultural award of Mongolia. Nils Kugelmann, an ACT artist and multiple award winner, already made a musical statement with his Nils Kugelmann Trio in the first season of Jazz über den Dächern and is now returning with this new project.
