A concert by Ayom is pure joy of life: pulsating, danceable, and full of energy. Around the charismatic Brazilian singer Jabu Morales, the international quartet combines Afro-Brazilian rhythms with sounds from Angola, Cape Verde, and the Mediterranean to create an exhilarating sound full of groove and swing. Migration, freedom, and poetry shape their music, where tradition and modernity, spirituality, and unrestrained joy of playing come together. After being awarded the Songlines Best Group 2021 and over 300 celebrated concerts across Europe, the second album SA. LI. VA was released in 2024, produced by Grammy-winning Guilherme Kastrup.
