Description

Ludwig van Beethoven is one of the greatest composers of all time. Not only is his music extraordinary, but his life story also continues to impress today.
On the occasion of his 200th death anniversary in March 2027, the well-known conductor and musicologist Georg Mais from the region offers a deep insight into Beethoven's life and personality. The evening is musically designed by the Japanese-born pianist Keiko Hattori, who is now a lecturer at the Mozarteum Salzburg. She complements the lecture with Beethoven's masterpieces, making the work of the great composer immediately tangible. Beethoven was a fan of a good glass of wine throughout his life and even had Rhine-Hessian wine sent to him during his years in Vienna. In keeping with this, visitors will have the opportunity to taste Rhine-Hessian wine in the style of Beethoven. Keiko Hattori – Piano

General Information

The event "Auf Beethoven!" takes place at the ALI Theater in Waldshut-Tiengen and offers a deep insight into the life of composer Ludwig van Beethoven. Conductor Georg Mais and pianist Keiko Hattori present Beethoven's masterpieces and enable visitors to taste wine.
