TECH TALES FOR ADULTS

Description

Project manager Alexandra Rauschgold invites adults to give space to their childlike playfulness and discover the immersive exhibition TECH TALES. TECH TALES is an invitation to all guardians, caregivers, and educators to promote social challenges such as flight, identity, disability, and nature conservation through contemporary fairy tales and media, creating a space for creativity and empathy. Besides the opportunity to immerse oneself in three different fairy tale rooms and actively participate, this tour introduces the broad spectrum of fairy tales and media from TECH TALES as well as the participatory methodology of the project, which incorporates children's ideas, wishes, and opinions in all areas. Adults are invited to attend the tour without children to fully dedicate themselves to the exhibition and to be a child again. Children can visit the exhibition accompanied during both weekends of the festival from 11 am to 6 pm. TECH TALES is a close collaboration of seven partners from six European countries: Institute for Transmedia Design (Slovenia), Art Rebel 9 (Slovenia), FLUX (Montenegro), Art Transparent (Poland), Grupa “Hajde da …” (Serbia), Institute for Advanced Architecture of Catalonia (Spain), and the VIENNA DESIGN WEEK as the Austrian partner. TECH TALES is co-financed by the EU program “Creative Europe (2021–2027)” and by the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media, and Sport. Additional information:

TECH TALES is an interactive exhibition that invites adults to immerse themselves in the world of contemporary fairy tales. The event promotes dealing with social challenges and provides a space for creativity and empathy. Adults can attend the tour without children, while children can experience the exhibition accompanied during the weekends.
