Description

Based on the energy of the dance floor and the political power of voguing – a protest dance that emerged from Black and Latin American LGBTQI+ communities in response to exclusion – CRUCE explores processes of physical mutation through transgression and crossing. On stage, the four performers break boundaries and free themselves from the weight of racist, gender-specific, and sexual symbolic structures.
