Song Slam

Description

Who sings wins - own songs in musical competition. Your song. Your moment. The Song Slam at the Kulturhaus is entering its next round in 2026: musicians present their own songs of various genres and the audience decides who wins. As an open stage, artists can participate whether they have always wanted to or (finally) want to perform their songs in front of an audience again. In two rounds, a randomly selected jury decides who advances to the final and ultimately is crowned the winner through applause. From electric guitar, acoustic instruments to loop stations, there are no limits to musical experimentation. Only cover versions are excluded, because at the Song Slam, only one's own creative work counts. The evening is hosted by the elegant and fair moderator Paula Höll, a poetry slam artist, ukulele cabaret performer, improv actress, and of course, host. In cooperation with KOHI Kulturraum e. V.
