Masaa - these are four musicians celebrating the evening: the moment when people come together, exchange ideas, and truly meet each other. This is also how the Lebanese band name can be translated. In an impressive way, they bring together essences of musical aesthetics from East and West and create a highly intimate and at the same time powerful music. In 2021, they were awarded the German Jazz Prize in the category Vocal Album of the Year and nominated four times for the Opus Klassik. Rabih Lahoud also received the WDR Jazz Prize. "It is poetry that breathes, music that pulses in a special rhythm."
