by Cecilia Verheyden(BE) Malou, surrounded by her older brothers and her mother, spends the summer in her small Belgian village. Family pool and rowing at the club are her favorite activities. For the fifteen-year-old girl, the summer is sweet, despite the bullying from her teammates about her appearance. Of an 'unclassifiable' gender expression, she is simply Malou. Her brother understands her and supports her; he is her confidant – until the day Malou feels a new emotion for her brother's girlfriend.
A first time, intense, wild, intertwined with the dynamics of identity building among siblings. Skiff dives into the candid gaze of a non-binary teenager, who disregards the opinions of others: a bright and refreshing adventure led by the incandescent eyes of the lead actress.
