This exhibition features Rousseau's portable herbarium, a unique object reflecting his dedication to botany and nature. Created during the last decade of his life, this herbarium was shared with friends and fellow enthusiasts. The display includes one of the only three known copies made by Rousseau himself, offering visitors a rare glimpse into his scientific pursuits and love for the natural world, set within the intimate space of the library at the Conservatoire et jardin botaniques.
