Description
In nature, we are particularly close to the seasonal interrelationships. We experience the cycle of being born, multiplying, and dying not only in the life of every person but year after year also in the coming and going of nature. These transitions have condensed into rituals over time – they tell of life and death, of happiness and sorrow, and the unavailability of our existence. In their wisdom, rituals have enabled since ancient times the re-connection of humans to the seasons and life itself, reminding us to care for life. In four rituals, we journey through the annual cycle and celebrate together in nature and in the church space. The rituals take place together with a pilgrim group from the St. Jakob Pilgrimage Center, whom we meet for a short pilgrimage path to the church in Kappel at a location in the region. This offer is a cooperation between Kappel Monastery and the Pilgrimage Center. Meeting & start: directly in the monastery church at 6:00 PM
Please wear warm clothing.
