Description

Brave speakers give short presentations on topics completely unknown to them. In the end, the audience decides the most original contribution! PowerPoint Karaoke is a parody of the everyday PowerPoint madness in the office or lecture hall: The presenters bravely face the audience and the challenge to go on stage and deliver an ad hoc, up to six-minute presentation on a completely unknown internet presentation. What exactly the presentation is about is only revealed to them and the audience during the presentation. Whether you get Schrödinger's cat treatise, instructions for fire and accident prevention from the volunteer fire brigade in Durmersheim, or the bachelor party presentation "Today Basti, tomorrow Knasti" is decided by chance. After each presentation, there is an opportunity for questions from the audience. The presenters expose themselves completely, because in the end, the audience decides by applause volume who delivered the most original and funniest contribution. In two preliminary rounds and a final, it is decided who improvises best and has won the second PowerPoint Karaoke at the Kulturhaus. Johannes Elster guides the evening.
