Flanders Folk Awards 2021 The string duo from Belgian violinist Lotte Remmen and French cellist Toby Kuhn was founded in 2016 in Slovenia. Originally classically trained, they found their freedom in improvisation and genre diversity. They present newly interpreted classical works alongside Bulgarian-inspired compositions and arrangements of Macedonian, Armenian, French, and Swedish folk music. Effortlessly, jazz, folk, funk, and classical elements merge into a style that defies conventional definitions.
