Public Tour 'Mise en Scène'

On the first Sunday of the month, we offer a public tour of our current special exhibition 'Mise en Scène. Fashion Photography from the Belle Époque to Today'. Fashion photographs not only tell stories about clothing but also about body images and role perceptions: from the liberated silhouette of the 1920s to the glamorous femininity of the post-war period to the confident, diverse representations of the present. The exhibition 'Mise en Scène' combines international photographic art with regional textile industry and illustrates over 120 years of fashion, photography, and social history. Participation in the tour is free; only the museum admission fee applies. Meeting point is at 11 a.m. in the foyer of the Textile Museum. We recommend registering for the event.
