Small Dots in the Universe | Andrea Müller & Rimantas Čekanavičius

Description

Two very personal perspectives on the world and the universe come together in a joint exhibition. Andrea Müller from Abtwil (CH) draws hundreds of small human figures on a sheet. Together they float delicately like a cloud on the paper. Rimantas Čekanavičius from Aknystos (LT) paints expressive faces surrounded by glowing colored dots. Sometimes they are kings. Sometimes they are saints. Both artists have recently exhibited in Ukmergė, Lithuania. Now their works can be seen in St. Gallen. Small Dots in the Universe is a joint project by vielraum, Vilkamirgės galerija Ukmergė, GHG Sonnenhalde Tandem, and Aknystos socialinės globos namai.
