Dreaming of growing your own fresh, healthy, and organic mushrooms at home? Then this workshop is just right for you! Together with Antoine, the cultivation manager of the "Jardins" and passionate mushroom grower, discover the world of fungi! The workshop program includes understanding the life cycle of fungi – mycelium, substrate, and fruiting explained simply; preparing and inoculating your own substrates – pasteurization techniques suitable for home use with agricultural materials that you can easily find (straw, coffee grounds, wood, etc.), and the different containers for home mushroom cultivation; controlling essential parameters – temperature, humidity, light, and ventilation in everyday life; recognizing and avoiding contamination – identifying unwanted mold and saving your cultures; harvesting and storing – when and how to harvest for optimal quality. You will take home: a personalized starter set assembled by you, and a practical digital manual to track and replicate your cultures at home. Who is it for: Curious beginners, no prior knowledge required! Where: at the Jardins de Chivrageon, Aubonne Duration: 3 hours. Held in all weather conditions at our nursery.
