The starting point of this journey is a plant that is both delicate and everyday: the willow. We invite you to follow the fine, flexible branches and discover their cultivation, processing into wicker rods, as well as the diverse basketry and weaving techniques. The exhibition also introduces artisans who today in Switzerland preserve and develop these practices between tradition and contemporary design. This special exhibition invites you to reconnect with an art that sustainably links humans and nature — whether through admiring the works of basket makers or trying your hand at it yourself.
