Description
117 min.–fiction(2025) vo:fr/subtitles: fr, eng dès 14 ans de Xiaodan He(CA) Feng Xia, a 53-year-old Chinese immigrant living in Montreal, has spent her life shaped by duty; towards her family, her culture, and a loveless marriage. Until one summer day, when she pays attention to a long-buried desire… Her encounter with Camille will shake her to the point of making a radical decision. Relying on her own immigrant experience and her legendary on-screen presence, Joan Chen (The Last Emperor, Twin Peaks) delivers an obsessive and subtle performance. With a rare screenplay that explores age, sexuality, and cultural dislocation, this work not only marks a milestone in Chinese diaspora cinema but also in lesbian cinema.Highlights
