Linocut Course

Description

Printmaking does not start on the screen, but with a tool in hand. In the linocut course, a personal printing block is created step by step – from the design through the cutting work to the finished print on the printing press. What happens in the course After an introduction to techniques and cutting exercises, a printing block (approx. 70 × 70 mm) is developed. 2 to 3 motifs are created – freely chosen or from a template. The motifs are then printed on the printing press. Course instructor Hans Mühlethaler accompanies the entire process and, upon request, provides insight into multicolor printing, woodcut, as well as the correct designation, numbering, and signature. Included: 10 cards (140 × 140 mm, scored, with insert sheet, envelope, and cellophane). No prior knowledge required. Maximum group size: 5 people.
