With live music and a setting between Baroque and pop, the production tells the story of two dream-lost rich kids searching for themselves.

King Peter wants to hand over power to his son Leonce. But the prince, paralyzed by melancholic fatigue, refuses all responsibility. When his marriage to the unknown Princess Lena is imminent, he flees to Italy. Lena also escapes the arranged marriage and travels away. By chance, they meet, fall in love, and do not realize that they have long been promised to each other. The attempt to escape their predetermined fate leads them straight into its arms.
