When your name is Lapsus, you don't just know how to make mistakes. You're not afraid to make them either. That's how humor is born.
Christian Höhener and Peter Winkler met in 1991 at the Dimitri school in Verscio (TI). Their first act was a parody of Swiss wrestling. Later, they created their characters Theo Hitzig (Winkler) and Bruno Gschwind (Höhener). Their career truly took off in 2007 when Lapsus went on tour with Cirque Knie.
Christian Höhener (1969), from Thal (SG), and Peter Winkler (1968), from Dietikon (ZH). Both live just a stone's throw from each other in the beautiful Zurich metropolitan area. That says a lot, but it doesn't mean anything.
Clowns, acrobats, singers, comedians, masters of burlesque… Artists endowed with astonishing body language and facial expressiveness. With "Ego," the duo Lapsus presents a sharp show, imbued with caustic humor, linguistic finesse, and surprising perspectives. Between clever wordplay and biting satire, they scrutinize the "self" in all its facets – sometimes absurd, sometimes revealing, but always with great accuracy. An evening for all those who appreciate deep humor.
