Description

The model student Caro suffers from increasing performance pressure and finally resorts to a dangerous aid. The retail apprentice Blerim helps a friend out of trouble and puts his own future at risk. Caro and Blerim are the main characters of the short novels "Hochdruck" (Maxima Hampel) and "Crash" (Petra Ivanov) from the program of the renowned da bux publishing house. "Hochdruck & Crash" combines their stories into an audio play with live animated images and figures. Set in a contemporary environment, the production raises timeless questions from the lives of young people: Who decides over my life, who takes responsibility for my actions? How can I be there for others and at the same time stand up for myself? Is the path I am taking truly my own? The dynamic visual world in comic style brings the main characters and their personal fates close and also makes the larger contexts in which they move visible.
