Description

Agota Lavoyer is an expert on sexualized violence and victim counseling. Her mission is to end the so-called Rape Culture – a society where rapes and other forms of sexualized violence are widespread but downplayed and tolerated. In her book Jede_Frau, Agota Lavoyer critically examines our handling of sexualized violence. She debunks common myths and shows that sexualized violence is not an accident or misunderstanding, but part of the toxic construct of patriarchal masculinity that still shapes our society. This book is a long-overdue cry of outrage and an eye-opener, but also a call to all of us. Conditions can change if society works to overcome sexism and misogyny. Let's do it!
