New Special Exhibition: «The Cat. Our Wild Pet»

Description

Sometimes purring and friendly, sometimes distant and mysterious: cats are our most popular pets. The special exhibition humorously explores the biology, behaviors, and astonishing abilities of domestic cats. Their wild relatives, lynx and wildcat, also sneak through the forests of Aargau. A new animated film on the relief and a series of photographs in the Helix Gallery are dedicated to them. Cat enthusiasts of all ages will be delighted. The touring exhibition, developed by the Thurgau and Olten Natural History Museums, is set in a regional context at Naturama Aargau and offers a tailored experience for our visitors. The world of cats can be explored beyond the special exhibition. An animated film and impressive photographs lead to lynx and wildcat, and in the interactive museum and photo booth, you can participate yourself. There is a creative activity for children in the Nature Laboratory. Tours, workshops, courses, and a panel discussion complete the program.
