The Ateliergalerie Le Tube brings together for the first time the sculptures of Basel artist Irma Bucher and the paintings of Freiburg artist Jean-François Zehnder. The faces made from gneiss, marble, red lava, serpentinite, or limestone engage in a dialogue with the skies, decorated with subtle clouds, as well as with landscapes and the subtle reflections created under the brushes and charcoal of the painter. This reveals deep affinities: their sensitivity, their ability to capture the essential in few strokes, and the importance given to music in their artistic work.
