Description

In Ukrainian, her first name means "stranger" and "traveler." In fact, the visual artist Oksana Sarvadii based in Romont has always nurtured a thought of elsewhere. Arriving in Switzerland at the beginning of the war, she casts an enchanting gaze on the landscapes, reaffirming the beauty of lakes, mountains, and vegetation. Her paintings, full of curves and veins, bring to life colorful and turbulent impressions of nature, as well as very expressive portraits and still lifes.

General Information

Oksana Sarvadii's « Between the Worlds » exhibition will be inaugurated on September 6, 2026, at Bicubic Romont. It features works inspired by nature and Swiss landscapes, accompanied by a performance by the Kalyna choir.
