The story is well known: Aschenbrödel lives on the estate of his deceased father. There, the stepmother rules, who hates Aschenbrödel and makes his life difficult to the best of her ability. When the king hosts a ball to find a bride for his son, the stepmother does everything to marry off her own daughter to the court. Aschenbrödel also wants to go to the ball, which the stepmother tries to prevent. But Aschenbrödel has three magic nuts and the help of friendly animals. The prince falls in love with the beautiful, veiled girl during the dance, but she flees. In the process, she loses a shoe... When the German-Czech fairy tale film "Drei Haselnüsse für Aschenbrödel" was first shown in 1973, generations of enthusiastic viewers immediately fell in love. Since then, it has been a fixed part of the Christmas season TV program every year. The success is no coincidence, because here you can experience a very special Cinderella, with whom one can identify: she is not only beautiful and warm-hearted, but also clever and self-confident, can ride, shoot, and climb.
