The regional theater presents the lively children's play "Wickie and the Strong Men" for children aged 5 and up. Wickie, the small, seemingly weak Viking boy, proves that brains matter more than muscle strength. With his clever ideas, he rescues the seemingly strong from difficult situations and becomes a celebrated hero. The play is based on the children's books by Swedish author Runer Jönsson and is brought to life by the award-winning regional theater in a loving, professional production. Director Andreas Jendrusch assembled the cast of five actors and adapted the script specifically for the regional theater. The performers switch roles with great joy, display expressive facial expressions and gestures full of energy, and bring the Viking world of Flake to the stage — including the fearsome Sven and other adventures. The production impresses with a imaginative stage set, authentic costumes, live singing, and guitar music. Children and adults alike will be captivated, laugh at humorous dialogues, and immerse themselves in the exciting world of the Vikings — an experience for the whole family.
