This question is answered unanimously by Willi Keller, author of countless legend books, and Michaela Neuberger, known as the legend storyteller "Zetzel" from Nordrach, with a clear "No". And they are right: the readings with Willi Keller and the evenings with Michaela Neuberger have been crowd magnets for years. Willi Keller, as a legend collector and author, maintains an inimitable storytelling style, where he, as a former news editor of SWR, conveys all the spooky but also romantic aspects of legends straightforwardly — you could also say mercilessly — to the point. Quite different is Michaela Neuberger, who, in the role of the farmer Zetzel, shows with a unique authenticity no emotional distance to the narrated and acted. With her, you never know what will come next, not for a second. Just like when you are alone in the dusk on the moss in the dark forest. And watch out — the audience is directly involved in the action! To prevent the spooky factor from causing panic attacks among the audience, the two have brought Oberkircher concert guitarist Klaus Leopold onto the team for the legend summit. He provides soothing balm for the agitated souls of the listeners with his carefully selected music and small improvisations between the legends. After all, they should not be disturbed by the legendary figures like the moss-faff or will-o'-the-wisps on the way home...
