Musician and singer Aurélie Emery transforms into Bocca Lupa to present her new ambient explorations, where sampled voice, Alpine zither and electronics meet, merge and erode. A chiaroscuro set combining oceans of reverb, extreme softness and rough noise textures. A music of contrasts, in which acoustic fragments transformed through various effects trace the contours of immersive sound worlds conducive to introspection.
Designed around the possibilities offered by MIAM, these three sound baths will give her the opportunity to experiment with spatialisation and long, evolving forms. Originally from Valais and now based in Vevey, Aurélie Emery has been developing a singular artistic universe for around fifteen years, somewhere between experimentation and songwriting, with the voice as the common thread running through her ever-merging worlds. She plays and has played in various formations ranging from contemporary music to experimental music (Berceuses, Entre-mondes, VRVN), and also composes for theatre, dance and performance.
