by Gustavo Vinagre (BR) As rain falls in São Paulo, a random connection on Grindr develops into a frenzied orgy in an unpretentious building. Throughout the day and into the night, Matias and his new lovers bond over sex and an abundance of drugs, as he confides about his life — his HIV status, past partners, his relationship with drugs, and his hopes for the future in a post-pandemic world. In his overheated state, he is visited by the iconic character, G. H., from Clarice Lispector's novel, The Passion According to G. H. In an extraordinarily free form, blending naked bodies and a simulation of drug consumption, the filmmaker creates an odyssey of magical realism in a gay room. A surreal and gothic fantasy that delves into themes of sexuality, intimacy, and self-reflection, with captivating force.
