Names such as Joseph and Michael Haydn and Franz Schubert are inextricably linked with the history of the Boys' Choir. With "World Hits", the Vienna Boys' Choir presents itself from its particularly versatile side. The program will include the rousing "Ode to Joy" from Beethoven's 9th Symphony, the powerful "O Fortuna" from Carl Orff's "Carmina Burana" and the poignant prisoners' chorus "Va, pensiero" from Giuseppe Verdi's "Nabucco".
