Camera Arts goes Bourbaki: The panorama from new perspectives

14 students of the BA program Camera Arts at HSLU have rediscovered the Bourbaki Panorama – with different cameras, colored light, and much curiosity. They explored the panorama from unusual perspectives, worked in front of and behind the scenes, experimented with projections, and also involved passers-by in their work. A special visual experience is offered by the images of an analog large format camera, in which the painting seamlessly transitions into three-dimensional space. These works recall early photographs from the time of internment and build a bridge between historical image practice and contemporary present.

The artistic-documentary works invite you to sharpen your own view and experience the European cultural monument anew.

General Information

The cabinet exhibition shows the artistic-documentary works of students of the BA program Camera Arts at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. The works invite you to discover the European cultural monument from new perspectives. The exhibition takes place at the Bourbaki Panorama in Lucerne.
