Description
"A dense and musical experience." (Deutschlandfunk) An evening in Advent. 2Flügel for the special time of the year. The weeks before Christmas. For listening, anticipation, leaning back. The storyteller Christina Brudereck and musician Ben Seipel offer songs and stories for the big celebration, contemplative and with a smile, to get into the Christmas spirit and to breathe in dense times. The story of the Christ Child in Sarajevo, medleys of well-known Christmas carols, music by Johann Sebastian Bach, Annie Lennox, and U2 – all this and much more can be enjoyed at the program World Year Best Time. The program lasts about 2 hours and includes a break after about an hour. Christina Brudereck is a theologian and author. She loves to tell stories and combines culture, politics, and theopoetry. Ben Seipel is a pianist and lecturer at the Cologne University of Music. His improvisations are inspired by soul, jazz, classical music, children's songs, and hymns.
