Sketching & Drawing Forest Mushrooms in Harmony

Did you know that mushrooms can teach you how to draw? In this special 2-day course, it's not primarily about learning to draw mushrooms: through their diverse organic shapes, you'll learn to see more precisely and draw harmoniously — even if you think you can't. David Köder has been teaching since 2013 based on Betty Edwards' method and is the author of "Your Drawing Talent is Not a Fish." With perception and relaxation exercises, he guides you step by step without drawing stress to line, form, proportion, and tone. On the first morning, we will collect mushrooms as drawing motifs for about an hour. Participation is voluntary; the studio has plenty of prepared mushrooms ready. The work involves, among other things, pencil, fineliner, water brush, graphite ground, and watercolor pencils. Materials, sketchbook, drinks, snacks, and an aperitif are included. Max. 8 participants, personal guidance. This course concept is exclusively available at Atelier Rikon.

General Information

The course takes place at Atelier Rikon in Rikon in the Tösstal and is aimed at everyone who wants to discover their drawing skills. Under the guidance of David Köder, participants will learn to capture the shapes of mushrooms and draw them harmoniously.
