Description

In our oil painting workshops and courses at Atelier Rikon, your own picture on canvas is created step by step. Depending on the date, different motifs are implemented - from still lifes to landscapes to sea motifs with boats. You work in small groups and receive individual support. The courses are clearly structured, easy to follow, and allow visible progress - even without prior knowledge. We offer various formats: – 6-hour workshops in the studio
You paint your own picture in a calm studio atmosphere and go home at the end with your finished oil painting. Personal support, all materials as well as drinks and a fine aperitif are included. – 7-hour plein air workshops (outside)
When painting outdoors, several studies are created directly in front of the motif. You work with color, light, and composition in nature and are guided step by step. Includes a shared picnic. – 2-day courses (basics & deepening)
On the first day, you learn the basics of oil painting - handling materials, colors, mixtures, light and shadow, and the construction of a picture on canvas.
On the second day, you apply what you have learned and work specifically on a motif that you develop step by step. All offers are aimed at beginners and advanced participants. No prior knowledge is required. Atelier Rikon is located near Winterthur and is easily accessible (Rikon train station nearby, free parking on site). Friendly dogs are welcome. The group is deliberately kept small so that individual support is possible. Included:

• Use of materials (oil paints, canvas, brushes)
