Cyanotype Workshop – Discover the Art of Blue Printing Discover the fascinating world of cyanotype at Atelier Rikon. In this 3.5-hour workshop, you will learn the classic technique of blue printing and create your own cyanotypes in the characteristic intense blue tones. Using light-sensitive paper and UV light, unique images are created from various objects, shapes, and materials. Plants, leaves, feathers, lace, small objects, and much more can be used. Feel free to bring your own items and experiment.
David Köder will guide you step by step through the classic cyanotype process – from designing and exposure to developing the finished image. Afterwards, there is plenty of space for your own ideas and experiments. You can try wet cyanotype or combine cyanotype with other creative techniques.
It is the experimentation and surprising results that make cyanotype particularly appealing. No prior knowledge is required.
The workshop is suitable for adults and children from 7 years old accompanied by an adult. Practical information
