Moderation: Katrin Lange Two women, two ages, two families – and two departures: Franziska Hauser, BAS scholarship holder 2016, tells in "Am Ende der Kleinigkeiten" (Frankfurter Verlagsanstalt) about a young woman who must free herself from the burdens of her background. Anette Selg, BAS scholarship holder 2023, questions everything in her debut "Das Jahr, bevor ich verschwand" (Schöffling), about a woman in midlife just before her much-desired sabbatical. Guest is Lena Gorelik ("Wer wir sind", "Alle meine Mütter"), whose novels and essays also revolve around origin, family, and self-determination. A conversation about writing, departures, and the stories behind the books. Katrin Lange, head of the Bavarian Academy of Writing, moderates.
