Description
How do we locate ourselves and gain orientation about our own standpoint in an increasingly confusing world? While the oversized Ittinger Güterkarte from 1745 will be on display at the Ittinger Museum, we embark on a journey into art equipped with various maps. Starting from the collection of the Kunstmuseum Thurgau, focusing on art by “outsiders,” holdings and loans unfold a multifaceted panorama. Or as Yoko Ono beautifully wrote in 1964: “Draw a map to get lost.”
