Crossed visits MAMCO X MAH: male gaze/female gaze

Description

The MAMCO and the Museum of Art and History invite you to a double visit within their exhibitions to question the construction of our views and narratives around female and male nudity.
At 2 pm, meet at the MAH for a tour of the collections on the theme of "heroic gaze to erotic gaze".
Then at 3 pm, meet at the RATH Museum to discover the exhibition dedicated to Sylvia Sleigh's work, which raises and overturns ways of considering portraiture and the genre of nudity through the lens of 1970s feminism.

General Information

The MAMCO and the Museum of Art and History offer an exploration of exhibitions on nudity through the lens of male and female gaze. Participants will start at the MAH at 2 pm, followed by a visit to the RATH Museum at 3 pm.
