Description

The four forestry operations of the Egg forest region – Forst Wehntal, Zweckverband Egg-Ost - Stadlerberg, Forstbetrieb Region Kaiserstuhl, and Forstbetrieb Studenland – demonstrate at this event the impacts of climate change on our forest. At a station run, you can receive information on topics such as soil, tree species diversity, influencing factors, cycles, and hunting. Additionally, you will gain insights into modern forest management methods. There is also an exciting task for the youngest visitors. The event concludes with a small timber competition where the four forestry operations compete against each other. The Veloclub Steinmaur provides catering.
