Prof. Ulli Lust is one of the most prominent voices in the German-speaking comic scene and teaches at the Hochschule Hannover. In 2025, she received the German Non-Fiction Book Award as the first comic artist for The Woman as Human. Prof. Dr. Johannes Krause is an archaeogeneticist and director at the Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology in Leipzig. He contributed to the decoding of Neanderthal genomes and has published several bestsellers.
