Description

«growth pains» As typefluss, Shannon Hughes writes short poems that sing about everyday life, identity, and longing. Together with her band consisting of Juri Schmidhauser, Leonard Wehinger, and Gina Pelosi, a stream of spoken word, field recordings, and alternative pop emerges that pulls you in from the first word. Their debut EP «growth pains» tells of looking back. Roots are dug up, synapses reconnected. Between childhood, grief, and memory, typefluss finds words and sounds that give space to the unspeakable. The evening opens with poems by author Benjamin von Wyl and a duo concert by the Basel indie-pop band Hæsin.
