A funny and melancholic show, created in front of the audience from nothing, or almost.
On stage, two performers discover an almost empty space: a few objects, spotlights, a speaker. Exploring the possibilities offered by this minimal environment, something gradually emerges from nothing. Thanks to their acrobatic bodies and some accessories, Marc Oosterhoff and Owen Winship transform this emptiness into a show made of small feats and fragments of words. This poetic duo invites us to glimpse the very mechanisms of the show, where the imagination is crafted before our eyes. In this effort to make do with what is there, The Smallest Things celebrates details and reveals our power to act on the world. It is said that the devil is in the details — but perhaps love and hope are hidden there too.
