Description
A ghost and talking sheep: a haunted farm reveals a France under tension.
On a farm at the edge of the city, sheep philosophize while a ghost, that of the hanged son, haunts the memory of devastated parents. There is also the brother, rebellious against the world, a young Maghrebi intern, like a lamb among wolves, and a long-toothed freelancer who wants to confront the chemical group responsible for the family tragedy. Between f***ing in the hay and nightmares filled with corpses of all kinds, the fields are about to host housing developments and tell a France between two worlds, which ambivalently grapples with the vices of the century. And while everyone tries to survive, the sheep talk and talk again. Barely recovering from a pitbull attack, we are already talking about a wolf coming from the steppes.
"We enjoy Pierre Guillois's ultra-creative text and staging. We love all this derision, this sense of the absurd, these moments of discomfort that push us to our limits, this touching and offbeat poetry." Ouest-France
