Description
Present in our daily lives – from our plates (bread, cheese, beer) to our medicines – mushrooms also perform essential functions in nature, such as decomposing dead organic matter or forming symbiotic associations, particularly with trees. And they are not plants! They do not photosynthesize and are evolutionarily closer to animals. During this visit, we will explore the species visible in autumn that produce fruiting bodies observable to the naked eye, commonly referred to as mushrooms. You will learn to recognize their morphologies, differentiate the species, and understand their vital role in ecosystems. A captivating immersion into a hidden yet essential world! Guided tour in English.
