Ladies First For its 25th anniversary, Geneva Brass celebrates the female collaborations that have marked its history through a retrospective concert. Centered around the concept "5 × 5" — five female artists, five male artists, and multiple possible encounters — this program brings together Félicita Marockinaite, Marie-Barbara Berlaud, Charlotte Filou, Lauren Bernofsky, and Elisa Shua Dusapin around works by Berlioz, Jan Koetsier, and Vincent Gilloz. An evening dedicated to memory, creation, and artistic dialogue. Marie-Barbara Berlaud French violist, Marie-Barbara Berlaud has a career that spans chamber music, pedagogy, and transdisciplinary projects. She regularly collaborates with the OSR and numerous European ensembles. Felicita Marockinaite Lithuanian harpist based in Geneva, Félicita Marockinaite has a career that includes symphonic, lyrical, and chamber music. Trained in Vilnius and Geneva, she combines sensitivity and virtuosity. Charlotte Filou French-Swiss actress, director, and author, Charlotte Filou develops a universe that blends theater, music, and contemporary creation. Active on Swiss and French stages, she intertwines writing, acting, and directing with a strong dramatic sensitivity. Lauren Bernofsky Lauren Bernofsky is an American composer known for her writing that combines chamber music, orchestral works, and brass repertoire. Her works, performed internationally, are distinguished by expressive and accessible writing, at the intersection of tradition and contemporary creation. Elisa Shua Dusapin Elisa Shua Dusapin is a French-Swiss author born in 1992. Between Paris, Seoul, and the Romandy region of Switzerland, she develops a sensitive and refined writing style, praised since her first novel Hiver à Sokcho, which has won numerous international awards.
