The evening opens with the Swiss premiere of Noriko Koide's Swaddling Silk and Gossamer Rain, a delicate work with refined textures. Marianne Crebassa then lends her voice to Berlioz's Nuits d’été, an iconic cycle where each melody explores the impulses of the heart, between dream, love, and melancholy. The orchestra finally becomes the true protagonist with Bartók's Concerto for Orchestra, a brilliant and inventive score. Three unique worlds thus respond to each other in a concert conducted by Elim Chan.
