The Orchestra
Described by the press as “the ensemble revolutionizing music in Europe” (Ticino Welcome), the United Soloists Orchestra is a Swiss symphonic ensemble founded in 2017 in Ticino. The ensemble brings together young virtuoso soloists from Europe’s most prestigious institutions, including the Tonhalle Orchestra Zurich, La Scala, and the Royal Concertgebouw. Radically different from a traditional orchestra, the project is celebrated for breaking down the boundaries between musical genres. Their performances are described as an “explosion of life” (laRegione), combining the highest technical skill with a mature, solid, and highly expressive sound. In their unique programming, Beethoven engages in a dialogue with the Bee Gees and Tchaikovsky embraces Coldplay—creating an atmosphere where, as the press writes, “it’s not just music: it’s magic!” (Ticino Welcome).
