Born in Rabat, Morocco, in 1997, Stormy has established himself as one of the most distinctive voices in North African hip-hop. Growing up in a musical environment marked by diverse influences, he developed a universe that combines incisive lyricism with great melodic richness. He first gained attention through his freestyles on Instagram, before breaking through with Fratello in 2020, alongside Khtek and Tagne, then with the collaborative project Jackpot in 2021. In 2024, his debut solo album, Iceberg, marks a real turning point in his career: it directly ranked 6th on Spotify's global chart of albums with the most streams upon release, reaching 10 million listens in just 15 days. Bridging Moroccan Arabic and French, Stormy navigates between hip-hop, afrobeat, Brazilian funk, trap, and drill, building a sound as eclectic as it is recognizable. His rise has also opened doors to collaborations with major brands, including a campaign for Inwi alongside Achraf Hakimi, as well as numerous sold-out concerts in Morocco and France.
