Behind it is the team of the digital magazines "Aeon" and "Psyche," whose contributions have been showered with awards. Usually, one can only enjoy the renowned "Live Philosophy" series in New York, London, and Melbourne. Rainer Kern has now succeeded for the second time in bringing the "Sophia Club" to Heidelberg, thus to the oldest academic philosophy location in Germany, with 640 years of history. The evening consists of a discussion on various references to this year's festival motto "Beauty": intelligently, excitingly, and knowledgeably moderated. Musical live interventions are woven into the event. In the end, both elements merge into a logical unity. The beauty of thinking meets the beauty of jazz.
